This workshop will cover the basics of how to plan for, prepare, and organize science-specific writing, including term papers, manuscripts and abstracts. We will also cover style, common structure, active versus passive voice, and first pronoun versus third pronoun usage. We will offer tips for avoiding problems such as excess jargon and unclear writing flow. In Part 2, we will briefly describe the publication process. (Part 1: 48 mins. Part 2: 19 mins.)
